After spending some time at the Balaton lake, I came down with an ear infection. I experienced a dull pain in my left ear.
As I arrived back home with a lot to do, I only quickly prayed against it and about it: the idea came to me to use hydrogen peroxide. It must have helped as the pain left but I ended up with a plugged-up ear and a persistent one. I tried to get rid of it by messaging with clove and tree tea oil and even tried jumping up and down at the suggestion of my youngest son – to no avail.
This went on to two more days where I was quite busy and preoccupied with other things and so while the condition of my ear was bothersome, I could not give trying to find the right cure my full attention.
Then it was time for my daughter to leave back to the city of her university and I accompanied her to the bus station. On the way home I finally took time to unwind: just walking, focusing my attention on Him. I really did not even know what to say to Him, I felt tired and simply started quietly speaking in the unearthly language of the Spirit that the Bible calls tongues. It meant something like, „I do not know what to say, but I need You. This ear condition is most bothersome, what am I supposed to do about it?” I started to be aware of a dimension outside of this earthly one surrounding me and I felt so much love and comfort.
Shortly afterwards I realized that my ear was not plugged anymore.
